Education and Training
Lisa has been in private practice in Great Falls since 2004. She has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Montana since 1998. She graduated from University of Utah with an MSW in 1994.
Her clinical experience has involved working with the State of Utah, Day Treatment programs for adolescents, Residential and Aftercare Director for a Montana Wilderness program, Practicum Coordinator for the MSW graduate program at Walla Walla University, Missoula, MT., and Peace Hospice of Montana.
Lisa has completed trainings in EMDR, Sensorimotor psychotherapy and Trauma Competency. Her main interest is integrating the body and mind, and she has enjoyed studying Peter Levine, Bessel Van Der Kolk, and Daniel Siegel. She has also been establishing a personal practice of mindfulness meditation and has offered retreats in mindfulness meditation. Please contact Lisa if you are interested in planning a retreat!
